Fingerprint lock is a new technology for homeowners who care with their home security, also for them who have lots of family members in their home. With this new technology each members didn’t need to have an additional keys to enter the house. With just one touch to the sensor of lock they can enter without any trouble as long as their fingerprint has been registered to it.
With this new tech, we also can record when each person entered the home with exact time that recorded on the system so for the parent who really concern with their children who always come late they can control it and can give the prove when talk to them.
How the fingerprint lock work?
First the owners register their fingerprint to the system and will be stored on the database that will be used to authenticate each time we use it to enter the home.
In the Operation, fingerprint authentication is really simple and fast. First, a homeowner or family members registering to the system by providing their fingerprint sample. The sensors record the fingerprint image, which is then interpreted by an algorithm and the representative features extracted to a data file. The data file then serves as the user’s individual identification template. During the inspection process, the sequence is repeated, generating an extracted feature data file. A pattern-matching algorithm compares the extracted feature data file to the identification template for that user, and the match is accepted or rejected. Most of the products on the market can do that process just in one or two seconds so its didn’t need lots of times to enter the home.
