Diolan GPIO-24 adapter has 24 configurable digital input and output pins. Any of 24 IO pins can be configured to accept inputs, to drive outputs, to send continuous PWM signal or to send single pulses. In input mode pins can be programmed to notify PC software when the input signal level is changed. To avoid contact bounce, signal level is confirmed after it is stable for predefined period of time. Diolan GPIO-24 adapter also supplies Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) mode. In PWM mode each contact can be independently configured to send square waves with predefined high and low signal periods. Periods can vary in the range from 1ms to 65 seconds. Diolan GPIO-24 adapter also has asynchronous events for input pins with configurable phase, debounce and repeat values.
