Now Xbox 360 users can watch cable tv channel through their video game device. This can occur after the agreement between Microsoft with Sky.

Quoted from Telegraph, on Thursday (5/28/2009), the agreement between Microsoft and Sky will be announced at the end of this weekend. However, both parties are reluctant to give the date of course. Even they do not provide a detailed explanation of how the tv program that owned by Sky is able to broadcast in the Microsoft Xbox.

Analysis revealed, possibly the step that will be done by Microsoft is almost the same as that ever done by Sony through the PSP. Its can be download content through the Xbox, or using live feeds.

Previously, Sony has also build an agreement with Sky in July 2007. At the time, Sky allows portable game console (PSP) users to download Sky contents officially. This process allows PSP users to have a moving video library, either subscribe to or rent a system.

But maybe this agreement don’t have to much effects for the increasing the number of the Xbox users. However, at least, Microsoft Xbox has been strengthened the image as a means of entertainment in the home as a full agreement before this happened, Xbox users have been possible to share video online.
